The biggest celebration of specialty coffee in the South West, held at Bristol Beacon.
Bristol Coffee Festival started in 2023 and calls itself the biggest celebration of specialty coffee in the South West. It runs for one day at Bristol Beacon, with more than 40 exhibitors and a Green Coffee Village alongside the tastings, talks, workshops and competitions.
What sets it apart is what it chooses to talk about. Founder Joana Vieiralves Wood built diversity, mental health and hospitality management into the programme as deliberate topics, not afterthoughts. In her words, it is about coffee and community, discussing important topics and giving power to small roasteries. Its charity partner is Caring in Bristol.
Roasters who have poured here include OddKin, Radical, Clifton Coffee, Curve, Origin and Studio Roasters.
