Aidy set up 47 Degrees in Derbyshire in 2017 after being made redundant. He had no background in coffee, found his way in, and has spent the years since accumulating 29 Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food.

His coffees have also been mentioned in The Times. The operation runs from a unit in Langley Mill and is a solo venture in spirit: Aidy roasts in small batches, handles customer orders directly, and offers free postage on everything.

The range covers single origins from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Mexico, and Papua New Guinea, plus a small selection of blends and a charity blend. Subscriptions and gift options are available.

The prices are accessible, around £9 per bag, which puts them at a different point on the market to many award-holders of similar standing.
