Artisan Roast has been roasting specialty coffee in Edinburgh since 2007, making it one of Scotland's longer-established independents. The business is built around direct trade relationships with producers, buying from farmers year after year at prices that reflect the quality of the work at origin.
Four cafes are spread across the city, in Broughton Street, Leith Walk, Bruntsfield and Stockbridge, giving Artisan Roast a significant physical presence alongside the roastery and a dedicated training lab. The range covers both filter and espresso profiles, including a subscription tier called The Rare Club for more unusual and limited lots.
Training and equipment are available to wholesale customers.
