The business has been trading for over 10 years and takes a medium to light roast approach, working exclusively with Arabica beans sourced through importers that support organisations including Coffee Kids, Food 4 Farmers and the International Women's Coffee Alliance.
All roasting is done on electric equipment powered by 100% traceable renewable energy, which the roastery notes is unusual for the sector. The awards record is strong: Great Taste winner for five consecutive years through 2023, including a 3-star award and a place in the top 36 highest-scoring products in 2022.
The business also reached the quarter-finals of Roast Masters 2023 in Amsterdam.
