Baytown Coffee Company

Baytown Coffee Company roasts daily at a converted cowshed on a family farm just outside Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. The roastery was set up in 2019 by Nick and Ann Louise, who live on the farm with their children and dogs.

The location shapes the identity of the business, with the North Sea and the surrounding landscape present in the product names and the general feel of the brand. The operation is small, focused on subscriptions and online retail, with wholesale supply alongside.

Green beans come from direct trade and importer relationships, with a stated commitment to paying above Fairtrade minimums. Baytown is affiliated with the Specialty Coffee Association and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and uses recyclable packaging.
