Flat Cap Coffee Roasting Company

The Flat Cap Coffee Roasting Company was founded in 2018 by Mark and Alex, a husband and wife team based in Wiltshire. Mark served in the British Army for 23 years before being discharged with PTSD.

The business grew from time spent in coffee shops during a difficult period of readjustment, which eventually led to home roasting and then to establishing a commercial operation. The name comes from Mark's flat cap, which became his daily signature after leaving the military.

The roastery is veteran-owned and operates as an independent business, roasting speciality coffee for home customers and trade accounts. Origins include Colombia, Peru, Indonesia and Kenya across a mixed roast profile.
