Johnsons Coffee is a Belfast-based roaster with a history spanning more than a century, with the Johnson family selling fine groceries from carts in the 1890s before transitioning to coffee importing and roasting in the early twentieth century. By the 1960s the business had developed a comprehensive range of blends and moved into machine sales, installation, and barista training.
In 1999 Johnsons launched Bellagio Espresso, which the company describes as one of Northern Ireland's best-selling coffees. The current offer includes subscriptions, barista training, and dark-roast blends.
The business is family-run and positions itself around the depth of experience built across several generations.
