London Coffee Roasters

Note: The website londoncoffeeroasters.co.uk is the trading site for Heartland Coffee Roasters, a New Zealand-founded business that relocated to Llandudno in North Wales in 2012. Founders Mal and Tara moved from New Zealand to London in 2000 and began roasting commercially from home in 2005 before expanding to supply London's cafe trade.

The move to North Wales came as the independent coffee scene along the North Wales coast was developing, and Heartland became part of that scene. The roastery follows the seasonal harvest cycle for single origins, with new crop lots from Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia and Brazil featured as they arrive.

Their house blend, Landmark, has been in continuous production for over 15 years and is described as their cornerstone. The range covers single origins, seasonal blends and a Swiss Water decaf, with wholesale supply to cafes and restaurants alongside online retail.
