Red Garage Coffee is a one-person roastery operating from a converted garage in the New Forest, Hampshire. The founder, who came to roasting after being struck by the coffee quality in Melbourne, spent two years learning before converting the space and launching the business.
The name comes directly from the roastery's location. The range is deliberately brew-method agnostic.
Rather than labelling coffees for espresso or filter, the founder advises customers individually on the best approach for each bean. The house blend, Tempo, named after a cycling cadence, is the centrepiece of the range.
The operation remains very small, with all roasting done by the founder personally.
