Silver Oak Coffee is a Cambridgeshire roastery with origins in a garage in 2013, where founder Bruce began roasting after training at the London School of Coffee. The business built its customer base through farmers' markets and food shows across the East of England before taking on a commercial roastery unit.

In March 2023, Silver Oak opened The Yard in Ely, a five-container outdoor site overlooking the cathedral, featuring a coffee bar and food traders. The Yard was recognised as Cambridgeshire's Best Independent Café in 2024 and appeared in Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards for 2024, placing it in the top 10% of listed venues globally.

Beyond The Yard, the business still runs The Rig, a two-storey trailer on Ely Market, and a Coffee Bus for shows and events. The roastery supplies retail and wholesale and has recently launched a subscription service.
