Swan Song Coffee

Swan Song Coffee is a solo-operated speciality roastery in Salford, Manchester, founded in 2018 by Josh Wilson. Wilson holds an SCA Authorised Speciality Trainer licence and placed second in the SCA UK Brewers Cup in 2019.

All roasting is done on Stronghold Technology equipment using 100% electric power, and Wilson also serves as the UK and Ireland sales representative and Level 1 and 2 technical specialist for Stronghold. The sourcing model is notable for its forward contracting: over 80% of the coffee on offer each year is contracted in advance, with the same producers returning year after year.

The range skews light and is sold online and to wholesale accounts including cafes, offices, and independent retailers. Swan Song trades as One Percent Coffee Limited.
