The Blending Room has roasted in Hull since 2009, growing from a market stall in Beverley into a roastery on the Boulevard in HU3. Founder James leads a four-person team alongside Katie, Jewels, and Sam, supplying coffee and full-service equipment support to cafes and hospitality across Hull, East Yorkshire, and North Lincolnshire.
Roasting runs on a Probat P12-2 and a Loring S15 Falcon, with a Q-certified cupper overseeing quality. Sourcing focuses on speciality-grade coffee from origins including Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Colombia, roasted to express origin character with clarity, sweetness, and balance.
Equipment partnerships span Sanremo, Victoria Arduino, La Marzocco, Mahlkonig, and Marco, while market stalls at Beverley and Humber Bridge Market sit alongside the trade and online business.
