Two Chimps Coffee

Two Chimps Coffee is based in Rutland, England's smallest county, and was founded in 2016 by Andy and Laura. The business was built deliberately around accessibility: at the time, specialty coffee felt elitist and information was hard to find, so Two Chimps positioned itself as a friendlier entry point, sending each order with a brew guide.

The roastery is carbon neutral and holds that status formally. It's a seven-person operation and won Small Company of the Year 2025 at the Mercury Business Awards.

They sell direct to consumers and take a deliberately uncomplicated approach to coffee education, aimed at people who are new to specialty coffee as much as those already in it.
