White Rose Coffee Roasters

White Rose Coffee Roasters is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire and carries the Made in Yorkshire mark, a regional designation for food and drink produced within the county. Head roaster Robert Cooper brings three decades of experience with commercial coffee equipment and catering supply to the operation.

The roastery uses Toper drum roasters from Turkey, including a 30kg machine added in March 2020 to handle bulk commercial orders alongside 1kg and 5kg batch roasters. The roastery operates as a click-and-collect and delivery operation rather than a retail shop.

Cooper visits coffee plantations directly, including sourcing trips to Brazil, to form relationships with farmers. White Rose supplies cafes and businesses across Calderdale and Kirklees, and expanded its domestic retail significantly during the pandemic period.
